P.S. Oh for those of you who've have been to the Bleach Wiki. Catherine awoke in her bed, sleeping next to Zack clad in a black tank top and panties with a minor headache, she sat up slowly and peered over to her window out to the ocean. Catherine slowly walked into the kitchen and found Sunny sleeping on the couch with a laptop on her stomach with a screen full of coding she could only hope to understand.
Catherine thought to herself "Oh man, another glorious day in 海底平和."
Catherine felt someone grab her from behind but found it was Zack.

So I'm sure by now that most people have heard the news that David Hayter will not reprise his role as Snake in Metal Gear Solid 5. There is a petition going around in an effort to have the decision recanted as well as a formal statement and interview from Hayter himself. Hayter has taken the high road on the issue and has remained diplomatic about the surprising announcement. However despite what he says, I think that there is more to this story than Hayter is indicating. I read his statement and watched his interview and I have a hard time believing that after 15 years of playing the role of Snake that Kojima and Konami just simply and suddenly ousted him. And I find it even harder to believe that David went on a lunch date and just sat …

The Jetstream DLC for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance released today, and I had a fair bit of fun with it. Of course, like the Awakened DLC for Dead Space 3, that may be because the core gameplay experience is incredibly satisfying, and not because it brings anything new to the table. That said, Jetstream does manage to give the gameplay a fresh spin, even if nearly everything is recycled. I suppose the question here isn't so much "is it fun" as it is, "is it worth the money".
The main draw here is the story, which involves Sam taking on Desperado at their headquarters in Denver. Fans of Metal Gear Rising will really appreciate subtle nods and backstory titbits here and there, though nothing substantial is really revealed. It does however, act as an …

Ok for those who played MGRR. Knows who George is. The Kid Raiden from the machines. And I got to say. This kid annoys me worse in the worse way. I hate to say it but he's even worse than Jar Jar Binks! I'm I not alone in this thinking. I mean the way he talks with his broken english that gnats at my mind. It's like when Qui Goon-Jin and Obi-Wan Kenobi had to Save Jar Jar on that planet which the name escapes me at the moment. But George is like the Jar Jar Binks of the Metal Gear Universe. I know that sounds mean but the kid just annoys me. I'm sorry I just needed to vent. Maybe not but what do you think? Post below.

I've finally completed Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and I had a blast with it. It's far from perfect however, and there are a few areas that could use some improvement. Not everything can be patched in, but I hope Platinum Games and Kojima Productions can keep these things in mind when working on a sequel. Please God, let there be a sequel.
One other thing that bothered me was Raiden's family life, or rather, the lack thereof.
This really irked me. Rosemary was such a huge part of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and she even helped Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots She even provided support in both games (well technically, she didn't in the former, but let's not get into that). I'm not saying there's anything wrong wi…

Ok here's a question, Does anyone but me thinks that Revolver Ocelot was modeled after Dr,Gero from Dragonball Z and at he same time share some similarities to each other? Here six reasons why.
1, Both Revolver Ocelot and Dr,Gero are Russian with Russian like accents.
2, Both have long white hair and moustaches.
3, Both worked for a (In secret) terrorist organizations. The Patriots. Foxhound. Red Ribbon Army.
4, Both have a confrontation with the protagonist. (Solid Snake confronts Ocelot twince in MGS1/MGS4/Goku only punches Dr,Gero)
5, Both dies not by the hand of the protagonist. (Ocelot dies from Foxdie/Dr,Gero get's killed by Android 17)

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a brand new chapter of the Metal Gear series, following the exploits of Raiden. The game is set four years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The story follows the cyborg ninja Raiden as he fights against a private military company called Desperado Enterprises. This isn't the first time that Raiden was a primary character in a Metal Gear game, but plenty has happened throughout his life to lead him to the events of this game. Just who is Raiden as a character, and what exactly led him to becoming a cyborg? Let's take a look.
Raiden (雷電), real name Jack, was a Liberian-American special forces soldier responsible for resolving the 2009 Big Shell Incident as a new recruit to the reformed…

I'm making this to catalogue the infobox images on character pages in regards to a conversation between myself and Bluerock. This will be a set of images that can possibly be used on each page and is in no way final.
Characters will be listed in the last canonical game they appeared. For example, Raiden will only be listed under Revengeance and Big Boss under MGS4.
Bladewolf is excluded as he is more akin to something like a Metal Gear than a traditional character.

No studio in the world makes games like Platinum Studios. The creators of Madworld, Bayonetta, and Vanquish, all stunningly gorgeous and unique games in their own right, manage to seamlessly meld both absurdity and finesse.
There is a tightness to their controls, in all of their games, that displays a brawler expertise that any developer should envy. In the hands of the more-than-capable studio, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will win over many fans who still hold reservations about a Metal Gear canonical game largely out of Konami's hands.
During my recent interview with Platinum Game's Atsushi Inaba, he described Raiden's "free cutting" capabilities in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance as one of the most challenging design elements in the gam…

While my preview for that will have to wait, I did get a chance to have a short talk with Yuji Korekado of Kojima Productions and Atsushi Inaba from Platinum games. Check out the interview below with their insight into the development of Revengeance!
Korekado: From the beginning, Metal Gear Rising happened because we heard a lot of fans say out loud, and give us feedback, that when they played Metal Gear Solid 4 and they saw Raiden pull out his acrobatic parts against the Geckos, they wanted to play that, as a player. So that's kind of how the project actually kicked off.
Inaba: So first and foremost, the genre is completely different. When we designed …

Ok, One of the major plot points of MGS Peace Walker is proving The Boss's innocence. And in Big Boss and Strangelove mind Peace Walker proved The Boss innocence. Well let's be honest here do you know what this storyline did prove? NOTHING! It prove NOTHING! Do you really think that a machine a MACHINE prove The Boss's innocence cleared her name? Strangelove created The Boss A.I. in order to know the truth. I hate to break it to you but how is asking a computer program what it's human counterpart did what? Anybody with a shred of sense knows that a program only knows what you program it to know. The Boss'…

After watching the trailer and reading some posts i could only draw these conclutions
1. when it said "She told us everything" I'm pretty sure they're referring to Paz considering she was a double agent. Cipher interrogated her into telling them everything
2. It is a possibillity that the young boy was Jack which would make him into his early to late 20's in MGS2 considering it took place in 2007 (plus he could of been there before Solidus took him in)
3. The game should take place in the late 80's i mean sure 6 years there could be change to Big Boss's hair but still
4. I'm not sure on the Disfigured Man on who he could be but this is a shot in the dark but it could be a former enemy (I did assume it could of been Zero himself but i then real…

But i mentioned that i borrowed Metal Gear Solid 3, and yes, i was very emotional when it came to returning it, i was considering emigrating, so i can keep the game. - Both Snakes didn't volunteer for the mission
- Both Snakes are infected with weapon during mission briefing (Solid Snake with FoxDie, Snake Plissken with two microscopic capsules lodged in arteries)- They go alone to the mission, with no other support than radio.
- First person they supposed to rescue is a decoy (Decoy Octopus in MGS and some drunk who is wearing Presidents bracelet in Escape from New York)- Both get supported from person they've met before (Solid Snake - Grey Fox and Snake Plissken - Harold "Brain" Herman)

The videos we have are fully licensed from video partners we have developed relationships with. They include videos such as trailers, famous movie/TV clips, walkthroughs and behind the scenes interviews. I've seen how many times people act as if the concept of peace was a very good thing, especially the world peace often fought for in the 1960s, but also other aspects of peace. Unfortunately, for various reasons, I honestly cannot fathom how peace could even be remotely considered a good thing, no matter how many times I grapple with it or how many times I try to think differently about how peace is truly a good thing.
One of the leading causes of World War II was the Treaty of Versaillis, where they forced Germany into reparations because they effectively lost the war, all so they'd have, ironically, ended the war to end all wars. As you can tell, that ended badly. Our president at the time, Woodrow Wilson, also allowed for this sort of th…

I'll start this off by saying, no, it has not been confirmed, and as such, it should not be added to any pages on the wiki. This is purely speculation.
What we have been told is that the game takes place in Africa, and the specific nation it takes place in is in the midst of a civil war.
The new trailer shows us many things, one of which is the nations leader, another is it's flag. The flag is clearly based on the Pan-African flag, in fact it is the Pan-African flag with a yellow image on top. The image appears to be some kind of big cat but that isn't necessarily relevant. The colours in the flag are used on a number of other (mostly African) flags. A list of these can be seen on the page linked above. The most important one of which is the …

I consider Solid Snake the major villain of the Metal Gear Saga. Why? I'm going to explain you WHY.
Here we go: the Patriots were an organization that wanted to accomplish the last wishes of The Boss. Zero, which was in the unit S.A.S. with The Boss, along with Big Boss, Para-Medic, Sigint and then EVA and Ocelot, the Patriots formed.
Liquid and Solidus began to challenge the Patriots (the incident on Shadow Moses in 2005, the Crash of Big Shell / Arsenal Gear in 2009, and 2014 with the uprising of Liquid Ocelot), but each attempt, the Patriots sent Solid Snake who seized his two brothers.
Although Solid Snake (as he himself says in MGS2), manages to elude the control of the Patriots, remains a pawn in their hands. The missions of Shadow Mose…

I've finally acquired the Big Boss emblem! It was my 2nd attempt at getting it and I had played the game twice before those attempts, on Solid Normal difficulty. It's quite 'hardcore' to achieve. Had to really 'research' how to more easily beat certain sections of the game...something which normally bothers me about games. In my 'research' which enabled me to get the Big Boss emblem, I did come across a few strategies in the game which I don't think were 'sporting' or 'fair'. So, I thought I'd add some additional criteria to what is a legitimate record game completion time:
Big Boss emblem - my additional criteria for a record time:
1) No Kills. Yes, I do realise that this is already a criteria for the Big Boss emblem. HOWEVER, the game does i…

I think I posted this years ago on a talk page but this is a slightly updated version. So to ask the question again. Is it just me or has anybody notice that MGS2 and MGS4 borrow alot of elements from The Matrix? Eva Ocelot and even Campbell has refered The Patriots as The System? And how a bunch of A.I. programs are controlling the people. You know hiding the truth? That most people aren't even aware of The Patriots. Speech restriction similiar to the knowledge of The Matrix. And how Snake represents as a saivor just like Neo. Ocelot is similiar to Agent Smith who wishes to destroy The System. And how JD alias J.F.K was speaking in the same computer language when it was talking to Raiden in MGS2? Just like The Architect. Viewing humans as…

Ok you want another reason why Metal Gear is overrated. Two words Splinter Cell. I'm a huge fan of Splinter Cell. Splinter Cell is a more realistic stealth game than Metal Gear will ever be. Sam Fisher is a more likable charcter than Solid Snake. Sure he's serious no nonsense and gruff and a tough badass. But he also has a sarcastic dry witty sense of humor. He can lighten even most intense situations and moments. You can't say that about Metal Gear or Solid Snake. Japanese video games are all about over emotional over dramatic and too serious. Alright let me give some examples why Metal Gear makes bad decisions.
Example 1, MGS1 Ending Cure for Foxdie. Ok Naomi Hunter telling Snake that he will die from Foxdie and he should live. That's all she says. Are you kidding me? Are we supposed to accept that? He didn't bother to ask if there's a cure a vaccine? He just accepted his fate like that? Maybe he could have asked if they could make a cure to say his life? So he supposed to stamp dead on his forehead and die? WRONG! If that was me I would badger them for a cure because I don't want to die from a biological virus. What kind of ending is that? Is that how we take it? Oh well I got a dangerous virus in me I should just go home and wait to die. It's not like my life matter at all.

Ok let's change the subject. Here a good question. I know CQC isn't unbeatable there's always flaws in anything. He said he could never beat her. But he knows he can. If he help developed it then he should know it weakness and limits. Techniques like that aren't perfect. I think the reason he could but didn't because of his feeling towards The Boss. I know she was holding back too. But not as much as Big Boss was. Had Big Boss used his full strength CQC from the start I think he would defeat her.
And to add. What about Solid Snake vs The Boss. Do you think Snake could be her more so than Bi…
