Bomb Blast Suit

The Bomb Blast Suit can be worn by Solid Snake in Metal Gear. It provides moderate protection against explosions, reducing the amount of health lost by Snake by a considerable amount. The armor provided by the Bomb Blast Suit also makes Snake much heavier than normal, allowing him to stay grounded and move in turbulent areas.
As the name implies, the Bomb Blast Suit is designed to protect the user from explosions. It is very bulky and heavy, and Snake can use these characteristics to his advantage when traversing areas with lots of wind.
A Bomb Blast Suit is also worn by Fatman in Metal Gear Solid 2.
