Item doritos

Doritos soldiers and item in Peace Walker.

The Fish Taco-flavored Doritos, alongside AXE Body Spray, Mountain Dew, Pepsi, Bon Curry, and magazines from Weekly Famitsu, Dengeki PlayStation, Dengeki Games, and Weekly Shōnen Magazine in the Japanese version of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker as a joke on product placement.[1] In the overseas versions, Doritos was replaced by the tortilla chips. In addition, supplemental materials such as a DLC T-shirt advertising Doritos and a briefing file covering Doritos were cut from the overseas versions altogether, presumably for the same reason why Doritos itself was replaced. The item description mentions their national distribution release date in America, while the Model Viewer description for the item references the brand's Japanese release date.
