At some point during the late 2000s, early 2010s, Dwight ended up experimented on by the Patriots, resulting in him becoming a cyborg. His left arm, in particular, was replaced with a cybernetic one, containing data from the Patriots.
After the Patriots' fall, he ended up joining the Denver Police Department, acting as a peace officer since at least World Marshal Inc. took control of the privatized police department thanks to small-government legislation passed by then-state senator Steven Armstrong.

In 2018, Dwight, alongside three Mastiff UGs, and having two Fenrir UGs on backup, guarded the stairwell of the northeastern edge of the mall area, to prevent Raiden's arrival at World Marshal Inc.'s HQ building just east of the mall area's edge. They were eventually wiped out by Raiden, with Dwight's arm being removed by Raiden.
Behind the scenes
Dwight is a character in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, as well as one of thirty cyborgs to contain retrievable left arms in the game. He acts as the eighth and final cyborg commander in Chapter R-03, located at the final part of the mall area just before the World Marshal HQ premises.
