This article is about a subject from outside Hideo Kojima's core "Metal Gear Saga." It has some level of canonicity within the continuity, but reader discretion is advised.[?]
Electrolyte Packs were an integral part to cyborgs during the late 2010s. As their name suggested, they acted as a means to repower any cyborgs when their fuel cells were nearly drained.
Behind the scenes
Electrolyte Pack is a collectable item in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Serving a similar role to rations in past Metal Gear games, it allowed for a full recovery of the player's Fuel Cell Gauge. They have a limit of five at once, with the exception being if the player is using the White Raiden skin, in which case the limit will be ten at once. The Repair Nanopaste shares a similar role, only it instead restores the Life Gauge.
