Espionage Grade is the ranking system for players in FOB mode in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. With the exception of chevron 0, most of the FOB rank icons are necessary to get for certain Challenge Tasks. Updating the ranks require the leadership boards to update mid-day.
