FOXALIVE

FOXALIVE is a computer virus, and the conceptual opposite to the FOXDIE Virus. It was designed by Naomi Hunter and Sunny and was to be inserted into GW, one of The Patriots AIs housed in Outer Haven, where it would destroy it and render Liquid Ocelot's army useless.
The basic program behind the worm cluster was designed by Naomi, but she entrusted it to Sunny to complete during the short time she was on board the Nomad: this was the true reason she faked her kidnapping. Sunny completed the virus using code from Emma Emmerich's original worm cluster designed to, coincidentaly, also destroy GW.
Unknown to Solid Snake and Otacon, the virus actually used GW as a gateway to destroy all five of the Patriots AIs, and rid the world of them for good. However, thanks to additions made by Sunny, the worm was able to pinpoint certain, critical economic necessities and was able to prevent them from being affected by FOXALIVE, thus making the the United States "an innocent child" once again (as Naomi says) without completely reducing it to a lawless country. According to Otacon, it works by triggering apoptosis in GW's cells.
