Face Camo

Face Camo is a full head mask that utilizes the same technology as Solid Snake's OctoCamo suit. Face Camo was used by Laughing Octopus, and Snake obtained it following her defeat at his hands.

The Metal Gear Solid 4 equivalent of Metal Gear Solid 3's facepaint, using Face Camo in conjunction with the Octocamo causes the Camo Index to improve.

[edit] Bonus Face Camos

Defeating any of the Beauty bosses non-lethally will earn the player their Face Camos. In addition, extra Face Camos of main characters such as Otacon and Raiden can occasionally be obtained by running into certain characters with the Mk. II in Mission Briefings.

Other Face Camos can also be unlocked by fulfilling certain conditions in-game.
