The Four Horsemen was an assassination squad employed by Zanzibar Land that specialized in close-quarters combat. They are comprised of former elite members of UDT, GSG-9 and SAS. They used their increased weight inside elevators to their advantage.
They fought against Solid Snake during Operation Intrude F014 in an elevator inside Tower Building under direct orders from Gray Fox and Big Boss.

- In the original MSX2 version of Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, the Four Horsemen were named Ultra Box, named after the British band Ultravox. Their name were changed to the Four Horsemen in Mobile Phone version of the game and is the currently used in the series canon.
