In Metal Gear Solid 3, when Snake obtains the GA-KO Camo, if he calls Para-Medic, she will say that he looks "Cute". Then, she will chatise you for not knowing what GA-KO is.
[edit] Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
In the online mode of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops +), GA-KO will appear as the target that needs to be captured. It also appears as an item. You can wind it up, and guards will become distracted by it's distinct noise.
[edit] Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots
GA-KO appears in Metal Gear Solid 4 as a wind-up egg timer. Sunny uses it through-out the game's cut-scenes to help her make her eggs. Konami produced an actual alarm clock based on this, available to buy.

In Metal Gear Online, the GA-KO, and sometimes the Kerotan, will need to be captured in Capture Mission, Solo Capture Mission, Rescue Mission, and the upcoming Race Mission.
