At some point during the late 2000s, early 2010s, George ended up experimented on by the Patriots, resulting in him becoming a cyborg. His left arm, in particular, was replaced with a cybernetic one, containing data from the Patriots.
After the Patriots' fall, he ended up joining the Denver Police Department, acting as a peace officer since at least World Marshal took control of the privatized police department thanks to small-government legislation passed by then-state senator Steven Armstrong.

In 2018, George, alongside a Grad, an armored cyborg, and two cyborg cops (including himself), were stationed near the mall area, close to the entrance to the abandoned underground railway area, anticipating Raiden's arrival at World Marshal Inc.'s HQ building near their position. Upon Raiden's arrival, they ambushed him, although Raiden managed to wipe them out, also taking George's arm in the process.
Behind the scenes
George is a character in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, as well as one of thirty cyborgs to contain retrievable left arms in the game. He acts as the sixth cyborg commander in Chapter R-03, being present immediately after the player exits the subway area.
