At some point during the late 2000s, early 2010s, Gerald ended up experimented on by the Patriots, resulting in him becoming a cyborg. His left arm, in particular, was replaced with a cybernetic one, containing data from the Patriots.
After the Patriots' fall, he ended up joining both Desperado Enforcement LLC. and World Marshal Inc., eventually rising up the ranks.

In 2018, Gerald and several cyborgs guarded the Japanese Garden area of World Marshal Inc.'s Headquarters building's upper floors, in Denver, Colorado, guarding the entryway near the Pagoda. Raiden, during his raid on the HQ building, arrived at the upper floor, and fought against him and his forces, although he wiped them out, also taking Gerald's arm in the process.
