Jennifer (ジェニファー, Jenifā^?) is a member of the resistance movement at Outer Heaven. She infiltrated the fortress by posing as a member of the medical staff in order to save her older brother, who was taken captive by Dirty Duck. During Operation Intrude N313, Solid Snake learned of her frequency from one of the hostages. She provided internal support to Snake, by providing him with the Rocket Launcher used to defeat the Bloody Brad cyberoids, as well as unlocking the room containing the Compass. In return, Snake managed to save her brother from Duck.

It is unknown whether Jennifer or her brother were still present in Outer Heaven during the NATO bombings after Operation Intrude N313, and if so, whether they survived or not.

• Jennifer reappeared in the non-canon Snake's Revenge as a double agent working for both FOXHOUND and the unnamed terrorist group in the game.
• In the manual for Snake's Revenge, Jennifer is described as possibly being related to "Ginger from Gilligan's Island."
• The name Jennifer was also reused for an incidental character in the Plant Chapter portion of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. She is among the hostages in the Shell 1 Core's Conference Room, although it is never properly established whether she is the same Jennifer or an unrelated character.
  • An easter egg can be performed with this Jennifer. When using the D. Mic to find Ames, Raiden will ask, "You're Ames, aren't you?" and Jennifer will reply, "My name's Jennifer!" Ask again, and Raiden will say, "You're Jennifer", and Jennifer will reply, "Stop, don't touch me", or, "Stay away from me."
  • Crawling under the desk in front of Jennifer, and shooting her with a M9 round will unleash a very funny (and perverted) easter egg. After seeing it, the player can call the Colonel for a funny conversation.
  • This version of Jennifer was used in one of the Snake Tales, as a Secret Service Agent with information on the bomb that Fatman hid in the Big Shell. She is found in the same manner as Ames is in MGS2, with the pacemaker replaced by her cell phone.
