A spy operating within the United States Department of Defense served as an informant to Sons of Big Boss leader Liquid Snake. He relayed intelligence to Liquid regarding the DIA's development of the FOXDIE assassination virus, and that alterations to the virus' program had been carried out by Naomi Hunter prior to its use during the Shadow Moses Incident.[1][2]
