Two soundtracks were released for Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty. The First simply titled Metal Gear Solid 2: Original Soundtrack contains 17 tracks from the game, with the majority coming from the Tanker Chapter, leaving many pieces from the Plant Chapter absent. However, Konami decided to release a second soundtrack collection entitled Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Soundtrack 2: The Other Side which contains 20 tracks almost entirely from the Plant Chapter.
The Main Theme Motif appears once during this soundtrack, during "Metal Gear Solid Main Theme" (Track 1).
