Its outer perimeter was guarded by machine gun emplacements, watch towers, barbed wire blockades, and three attack helicopters. Inside the camp, there are multiple tents that act as either barracks or supply stops. HEMTT trucks also are often brought in to deliver supplies. Large piles of boxes and sandbags are also prevalent, presumably acting as supplies for the troops. Other than the tents, truck stops, and supplies, there was also a large building that was at least seven stories tall, which acted as the primary headquarters for Liquid Ocelot.
After passing through Crescent Meridian, Solid Snake arrived in Millennium Park during his mission to assassinate Liquid Ocelot. Evading the mercenaries on patrol, Snake bypassed the encampments in order to reach the heart of Liquid's stronghold. One of the PMC soldiers while Snake is sneaking around was also ordered to fix some connection problems the camp was experiencing. Likewise, Rat Patrol Team 01 was also present to prepare to infiltrate deeper into the complex. All of the personnel as well as Rat Patrol (barring Akiba) and to a lesser extent Snake ended up undergoing SOP withdrawal after Liquid Ocelot's experiment with Liquid's DNA being used to hack SOP resulted in a lockdown, many of whom also had their hearts stop.
Behind the scenes
Millenium Park appears in Act 1, Liquid Sun, of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The interior of the camp cannot be accessed during normal gameplay, and is instead only viewable via cutscenes.
The name of the location was misspelled as "Millenium Park" in the Piggyback Guide for Metal Gear Solid 4.
