Night Fright (ナイト・フライト Naito Furaito?) was a Zanzibar Land mercenary who used an optic camouflage suit that is also undetectable by radar and wields a Wei Shen Sho Ciang, roughly translated from Chinese "Silent Machine Gun", a gun which appropriately makes little noise. He was a surviving member of The Whispers, a legendary guerilla squad from North Vietnam. He fought against Solid Snake in the basement of the Detention Camp during Operation Intrude F014.

- Night Fright was originally named Night Sight in the original MSX2 version, though was renamed Night Fright in the mobile phone and PlayStation 2 versions.
- Night Fright is the first character in the series to use a form of stealth camouflage.
