Old Boy was a former member of Dead Cell who was killed six months prior to the events of the Big Shell incident. He was Dead Cell's military strategist. Born during the early 1900s, he was a former Nazi general who participated in World War II. He was a mentor to several world-renowned soldiers and mercenaries, including Big Boss. He would wield a Panzerfaust in battle.
Not much else is known about Old Boy. It is unknown where or how his fight would have been. However, Old Boy's appearance and age were incorporated into the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater character, The End.
