Operation Intrude N312 was the name of FOXHOUND's first ill fated mission into Outer Heaven. The mission carried out by Gray Fox and it's objectives were to analyze the threat Outer Heaven posed and to neutralize it. However, the mission ended in failure as Gray Fox was captured.

A follow up operation was carried out by Solid Snake.
