Repair Nanopastes were an integral part to cyborgs during the late 2010s. As their name suggested, they acted as a means to repair any wounds cyborgs sustained in battle.
Behind the scenes
Repair Nanopaste is a collectable item in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Serving a similar role to rations in past Metal Gear games, it allowed for a full recovery of the player's life gauge, and even allows the player to restore all their health if hit by an otherwise fatal attack. They have a limit of five at once, with the exception being if the player is using the White Raiden skin, in which case the limit will be ten at once. The Electrolyte Pack shares a similar role, only it instead restores the Fuel Cell Gauge.
