Not article related, but here's a little food for thought: Ocelot called Solidus King, Vamp called Fortune Queen, Raiden's real name is Jack, Navy SEAL Team 10, and Solid Snake was the "Ace in the Hole." Pretty mindblowing, eh? :P
haha, yeah! Kojima mentioned this in the "Making Of" DVD that came with some copies of MGS2. It's amazing how many little references he puts into his games --Fantomas 12:54, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

MGS III?!
Edit
I was watching one of the early videos on Document, and in the video and description, the original title was MGS III, has it been said exactly why?Solid Snake 2 20:55, May 15, 2010 (UTC)
- The original intention was to mimic the three most prominent buildings in Manhattan (The Twin Towers and the Empire State Building). Note that the plans for Metal Gear Solid 2 were made before the September 11th attacks, so some things had to change. Weedle McHairybug 21:06, May 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks for clearing this up for me. Solid Snake 2 21:08, May 15, 2010 (UTC)
Deleted Scenes
Edit
Have the scenes deleted after 9/11 [The cutscene with Arsenal hitting Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty, and the after-credits newscast] even been leaked or seen any on Document?
I've wanted so badly to see them for years; really since the first time I played and could tell there was something missing between "Arsenal passing under the bridge" and "Falling on to Federal Hall" scenes..
Going by Arsenal Gear's Notes/Behind the Scenes section, I think they would have had some scenes relating to it. However, the Novelization kept at least the actual crash intact. Weedle McHairybug 13:19, May 21, 2010 (UTC)
Accelerated aging
Edit
Isn't the first hint of clones accelerated aging made by Grey Fox in Metal Gear Solid? Oni Dark Link 17:17, October 30, 2010 (UTC)
- "You haven't aged well." Maybe. Maybe not. MGS2 was at least the first direct reference to it being a result of cloning. Gray Fox's comment could have been equally applicable to any battle-hardened soldier who has seen years of war. --Bluerock 17:38, October 30, 2010 (UTC)
