Lyric transcriptions aren't actually a very good source for authorive lyrics since they're generally transcribed after the fact by people who didn't write the song. See also: official lyrics for about half of all rap songs ever made. For example, in this song it's very obviously "like a flood of rain," there's no P sound in that line. It's a really weird error since it's a really heavily pronounced R ("rrrrain") and you can't actually do that with the P sound in English at all. 2.27.148.200 15:08, December 11, 2013 (UTC)
Some random people can't just get the domain "platinumgames.com", you know.—"I think it's time for Jack...to let 'er rip!"—Raiden (15:57, December 11, 2013) 15:57, December 11, 2013 (UTC)
The transcript was actually acknowledged. We could always list two sets of lyrics: the official transcript on Platinum Games' site, and the actual lyrics as heard in the game, and simply highlight the differences in the final version that was used. --Bluerock (talk) 19:55, December 11, 2013 (UTC)
Oh, I'm not saying it was some random people, just that the most likely method those lyrics were transcribed was Konami throwing a copy of the track at an intern and telling him or her to transcribe it by ear. You'd be amazed some of the shortcuts that publishers have taken over the years, probably the most well-known is Capcom not bothering to track down the box art of Okami for the Wii release, meaning there's an IGN logo on the actual box just in front of Ammy's mouth. 2.27.117.174 07:27, December 12, 2013 (UTC)
