Just a note: when they talk about missing electronics, they're trying to address why Mo isn't just sinking Outer Haven with cruise missiles; it's because she can't fire them. They're not talking about the systems of the armoured bridge, which are normal functional parts of the ship that she wouldn't be deemed seaworthy without. Anyway, fire is coordinated from inside the turrets and the ship is at a dead stop, there's no reason for the bridge crew to be standing at the windows other than for the drama since they're not actually doing anything. Didn't they mention something about having to observe Haven with their own eyes when it surfaced? Maybe I'm remembering it wrong. Anyway, Mei Ling does give orders throughout the battle, and the bridge crew provide info to her as Haven attacks, so I wouldn't say they were doing nothing. But yeah, drama is one reason to have them more visible. --Bluerock 22:05, June 17, 2011 (UTC)
