The Thermal Goggles are a regular occurrence in the Metal Gear Solid Series.
This article is about a subject that has changed between games.
The thermal goggles enable Snake to see different objects in the surrounding area depending on their heat.
They are useful for
- spotting enemies behind walls
- searching for mines if a mine detector is unavailable.
- detecting laser beams
- following footprints
- finding food
Thermal goggles can also be used with Sniper Rifles.
