The 'Blade Mode' allows for the players to line their slahes in a particular direction. This mode produced a special trageting reicule in the form of a transparent blue plane which can be rotated and moved. The mode is also able to slow down time to a 'bullet time' slate, allowing for precise cutting during intense moments of action. Nearly every object in the game can be cut, including vehicles, enemies, and other objects.|
|Raiden will have the ability to parry the attacks of enemies, which can lead to counterattacks and combos. The players as the access to the stealth mode called "Ninja Dash" which drastically increases Raiden's speed and allow him to climb specific structures. This ability can be used to lead to possible ambushes of enemy groups. Another ability of Raiden's is the zan-datsu, which involves cutting through enemies and then taking their parts, energy, ammunition, items, and information from the disembodied robots and cyborgs. When completing missions, the player will be graded on their performance. The highest grade is S.|
