William Bassett (born December 28, 1935 in Evanston, Illinois, United States) is an American actor. He has acted in TV shows such as Arrested Development, Reno 911!, Scrubs, The Invisible Man, Dharma & Greg, Days of Our Lives, Dallas, and The Young and the Restless. He has also voiced characters in video games such as Diablo II, WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos, and Fallout 3.

Metal Gear series Edit

In the Metal Gear series, Bassett provided the English voice of Jim Houseman in Metal Gear Solid, where he is credited as Fredrick Bloggs. He reprised his role in Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.
