Yumi Kikuchi (菊池 由美 Kikuchi Yumi?, born March 15, 1974 in New York City, New York) is a Japanese model, singer, and voice actress. She is a personal friend of Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima. She also is part of an in-house band called "Two-Han Princess" alongside voice actress Kikuko Inoue.
Her roles in the Metal Gear series were Raging Raven's beauty form in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (who was also modeled after her, as well as the motion capture artist for the character), as well as Dr. Strangelove from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. In Peace Walker, she also had voice DLC for Pupa, Chrysalis, and Cocoon. She also had cameos throughout the series as a model on a gravure poster. During TGS 2011, she appeared on-stage with Hideo Kojima where she covered some bits about the HD Collection, as well as unveiled rare footage of the game including a commercial featuring Kojima. Furthermore, she unveiled alongside Kojima two uchiwa fans with their faces on it, revealing the secret fans. Kikuchi also tweeted that she, as well as Kikuko Inoue, would be doing voice work for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Prior to formally debuting in the Metal Gear series as a voice actress, she also acted as the basis for some Gravure posters found throughout Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, with her serving a similar role in addition to portraying Raging Raven in Metal Gear Solid 4.
